On the road with E2R and the Lady Prestige Tour
3, 2, 1 … Ladies & … Today, only women are honored! Ladies, it’s time for you to step on the gas and break the codes!
So?! On your marks, get set, run!
Michael Schumacher, Sébastien Loeb, Alain Prost, Stéphane Peterhansel, … and many others are the most successful car drivers!
But strangely, no female name stands out … so this discipline would be reserved only for the male gender?
« Where are the women? » This is an interesting question, since few people can name a well-known female racing driver.
However, they also take the wheel in search of thrills. Car racing, at the beginning very masculine, is becoming more and more feminine, and the different competitions are opening step by step to the female gender.
In this year 2021, projects abound at E2R.
We will be partner of the Lady Prestige Tour, orientation and regularity rally on asphalt roads.
The concept of this rally?
To compose a female crew and to leave to cross the roads of France for 2 days: the 6th edition will take place on September 23, 24 and 25, 2021 in Gironde, Dordogne and Lot et Garonne.
On the menu of this rally: conviviality, competition, prestige and gastronomy of course.
The rules: the crews have to respect a precise itinerary in a more than defined and tight time. Each checkpoint must be passed within the minute before the start of each regularity event.
Victory is awarded to the team that has received the fewest penalties during the course. So, driver, be strategic! Since your co-pilot is your guide and must be precise in the indications, she gives you, this is the essential factor for success!
What are the keys to the success of the Lady Prestige Tour?
Finding the ideal girlfriend, who will accompany you in this automobile journey, a car in accordance with the rally policy (coupe, cabriolet, luxury sedan), but above all to bring out the values greatly expected during this competition: solidarity, requirement, determination and joy!
These values are dear to our E2R team, which is composed entirely of women.
In order to make your mouth water and to let you discover a little more about this all-women rally, here are a few photos taken during the 2020 edition which took place near Saint Emilion. The participants had been able to discover magnificent landscapes of the Dordogne and Lot passing by the castle of Milandes and the castle of Fleunie.
